One-Click OAuth for Gmail & Outlook

Connect your Gmail or Outlook account in a single click with OAuth authentication. No passwords are stored on our servers — we use secure token-based access that you can revoke at any time from your Google or Microsoft account settings.

OAuth automatically configures IMAP and SMTP settings for you, so there is nothing to look up or type in. Just click, authorize, and your email is connected and syncing within seconds.

Connect Any Provider with IMAP/SMTP

Not using Gmail or Outlook? No problem. Connect any email provider using standard IMAP and SMTP settings. Enter your server details, choose your encryption method (SSL or TLS), and configure custom ports if needed.

Our built-in connection tester verifies your settings before saving, so you know everything works before you start. Supports Yahoo, Zoho, ProtonMail Bridge, FastMail, and any standard IMAP/SMTP server.

Shared Team Inboxes

Create shared inboxes for addresses like support@, sales@, or info@ and assign team members to collaborate on incoming messages. Everyone on the team sees the same inbox, with real-time collision detection to prevent duplicate replies.

  • Assign team members to shared inboxes with granular permissions
  • Collision detection prevents two people replying to the same email
  • Internal notes on threads visible only to your team
  • Assign conversations to specific team members for ownership
  • See who is viewing or drafting a reply in real time

Enterprise-grade protection for every connected account

OAuth Tokens

No passwords stored for OAuth providers. We use secure refresh tokens that you can revoke at any time from your provider account.

Encrypted Connections

All IMAP and SMTP connections use SSL/TLS encryption. IMAP credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256 in our database.

Per-Account Permissions

Control who can access each connected account. Set read-only or full access for shared inboxes with granular team permissions.

Audit Logs

Full audit trail for account connections, permission changes, and access events. Admins can monitor all email account activity from a central dashboard.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about connecting email accounts

We support one-click OAuth for Gmail and Outlook (including Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online). For all other providers — Yahoo, Zoho, ProtonMail (via Bridge), FastMail, iCloud, and any standard IMAP/SMTP server — you can connect using manual IMAP/SMTP settings. If your provider supports IMAP, it works with Email Connect.

For OAuth providers (Gmail, Outlook), we never see or store your password. We use secure OAuth tokens that grant limited access and can be revoked at any time. For IMAP/SMTP connections, your credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption and are never stored in plain text.

A shared inbox lets multiple team members access the same email account (e.g., support@yourcompany.com). All members see incoming emails, can assign conversations to each other, leave internal notes visible only to the team, and get real-time collision alerts when someone else is already drafting a reply to the same email thread.

Yes. Any email address hosted on a custom domain can be connected as long as the hosting provider supports IMAP and SMTP access. Enter your mail server details (e.g., mail.yourdomain.com), port numbers, and encryption settings in the manual configuration form. Our connection tester will verify everything works before saving.

Email syncs automatically in near real-time using IMAP IDLE (push) when supported by your provider. For providers that do not support IDLE, we poll for new messages every few minutes. You can also trigger a manual sync at any time from the account settings page.

You can disconnect any email account instantly from the Email Connect settings page. For OAuth accounts, this revokes the access token. You can also revoke access directly from your Google or Microsoft account security settings. For IMAP accounts, disconnecting removes the stored credentials from our system immediately.
